My ‘97 base model 4WD 4 cylinder 3RZ-FE with A340E automatic transmission had the same transfer case shift lever pictured here.

I suppose the next thing to ask is: What part of the VIN tells customers what kind of transfer case it has. Knob rotation that has an electric motor activation or lever with shaft connection?

I made this video 5 years ago. Watch the others from me and it comes down to mine needing a new idle air control valve. I had a 4 cylinder and still have that throttle body and bad idle air control valve. I replaced with a different tb and valve. YouTube
