I've read the ideas and theorycrafting but I would still have to recommend following Toyota's guidelines for the vehicle. If you're really sold on trying different oils in your truck, I would suggest getting oil samples analyzed periodically. These guys are pretty affordable and do a good job...

Tires make a big difference in the effort needed to turn. I went from some Firestone's the stock bridgestones and it was much easier to turn. I would also check inflation psi too.

Small world indeed haha. I set them to .85 which I believe gets rid of most of the rake. I think another setting higher is fine too, but if you put a few hundred pounds of weight in the back it'll sag slightly. I haven't tested this though but it's what I've read.
