There are tons of nooks and crannies on these engines, you might have to take all the intake stuff off, right down to the intake plenum. Non-issue if you ask me, wait for the head gasket to blow lmao

As previously stated by RAD4Runner, I would suspect your starter and all electrical cables. Also, clean up all of your grounds to the block and fuse box.

Check the screws that hold your license plate. My back window hung up on screws that were too long, and even after I found shorter ones they still hung the window up. I had to put washers on to just barely get a few threads in.

I would replace the tie rods anyway for an 02'. They're cheap and easy enough to replace, but definitely check the slip joint in the steering column as itskohler mentioned!
