No, i didn't search through all the old posts to see if anyone else found what I did, but, since I am not asking a question, i figure that's ok...
I have a 2003 4Runner with a moonrof. Ever since new, I have had rattles coming from the headliner when driving over bumpy roads. Yes, i know...
mtnbkr33 - The noise that I described (as opposed to Hawk's problem) was a real pain in the you-know-what until I fixed it. Be sure to try Hawk's sugestion too (simply lower your rear seats to rule out the latching mechansim as a source).
So how are the trails in Wisconsin anyway? Good riding...
How much does the Scion radio with 6 CD changer?
I was given a Scion a few weeks ago as a loaner car while my truck was being worked on. The first thing that I noticed was how good that radio sounded! Way better than the JBL unit in my truck.
Is it an exact fit, or are there any gaps...
The seat bottom gets plenty hot here too. I also turn down to half once warmed up.
I don't think that I ever felt the seat back get warm, but then again, I wouldn't expect to feel it through my winter coat...
Good racks don't wobble - get a Thule or Yakima with a screw in hitch bolt (as opposed to just a slide in pin found on lower end racks). And supplement with extra tie down straps for the bikes. And use a really good lock too.
Of course, if you are the paranoid OCD type, then don't even think...
I think that's normal. I know that my airbag light is usually the last one to go out after starting (but I never timed it). I'll take note next time.
There might even be a blurb in the manual somewhere stating that it is ok even if it takes a really long time to go off. I think I remember...
Pulling to one side... I assume that you have roughly equal tire pressure on both side? Low tire pressure on one side will causing pulling (to the low side). If pressure is ok, did you hit the curb enough to effect alignment on that wheel?
How does the tread depth on your spare compare with...
Check your rear tailgates people...
I had a creak coming from the rear cargo area everytime I drove up anything at an angle (like a sloped driveway as already mentioned). After endless nights playing with all of the plastic trim in the back, I focused my attention on the rear tailgate. I...
I dunno about tread pattern and gas mileage, but I will comment on the original post about the Dunlop AT20's.
I rode on the Dunlops for a little over 1 year, and recently picked up a set of Michelin Cross Terrains. Both sets of tires were/are P265/65R17 set at 32 lbs.
To my untrained senses...
The clock is always on.
Using the button next to the climate control display, you can change the temperature display to show mpg, range, avg speed, something I can't remember, or no display at all.
Good luck with your planned purchase!
Both tires (Dunlpop Grandtrek AT20 and Michelin Cross Terrain) are P265/65R17, 110s and M+S rated.
Their outer diameters are equal to within 0.1 inchs, and their section widths (whatever that is) are the same.
Their specs are quite similar, that's why I'm curious about the difference in max...
I replaced my filter after reading this thread (12 months old). It was really dirty!
As a bonus, the slight musty odor from the air vents is gone. From now on, I'll make sure that I change this one at least once every 12 months.
The filter is located behind the glove box. Very clear...
The recirculate function goes on and off automatically depending on both the outside temperature and the interior temperature setting. I haven't noticed this 'feature' since the outside tmperatures dropped last fall, but I know it will be back in the spring now that things are beginning to warm...
