Any one have this happen?? A RANDOM problem..I have a 90 3.slow A/T ,sometimes i come to a stop and the truck gets stuck in what seems to be 3rd gear! to get the truck moving again i must manual shift to 1st gear what seems to be only 2nd gear because its enough to get the truck going and reach...

just did new filter in my 90 and some slick 50 runns much better. had a light once but it threw a light when the bat ligh went on same time.. it was the alt.. OIL IS CHEAPER THAN PARTS

exaust A friend of mine has a cherry bomb on his and thats what prompt me to get mine. i noticed a pwr difference ... though mine is a 3.slow it sounds similar to his though. price was like $ 30 bucks and its small, and light weight ,.

time hope this helps ....never heard of all that ur sayin. ive done my time belt 3 times since i bought my 4 runner never used a timing light. hate those things. i use a VAC gauge. where ever it makes the most vac is where i run mine every time and mine isnt a 3.slow it ripps. for 150 hp...

if it aint broke why would u replace it? its not ez but its not hard or fun .i know this motor well and never enjoy ripping it apart for the 4th time for me leave it alone if its not bad yet. and when it goes if it goes then fix it.

cable and to add to that i would just get some ends and make it myself because chances are that they want a arm and leg for the specific cable and is not neccesary i upgraded all mine 4 gauge monster cable then slitloom and zip ties its better than new.

yeah not real fast goes good off road though. i think if i were in that spot i might look into rebuild with cams and headers exaust stuff like that . not sure about a program ..weigh your . options... good luck.

sounds like alot of cash. mine blew the Head gasket too ! its common .......runs great now. why bother changin it? possible??? i dont see why not.
