Head Gasket Replacement...

I know I need to replace this thing.

How difficult of a project is it? I don't want to get to deep into the engine at this point if I dont have to. Is it a simple process? How much does a head gasket cost? What sort of improvements can be noticed from a freshly sealed head gasket?

if it aint broke why would u replace it? its not ez but its not hard or fun .i know this motor well and never enjoy ripping it apart for the 4th time for me leave it alone if its not bad yet. and when it goes if it goes then fix it.
