When I bought my 4runner the previous owner had a receipt for a flush from indy shop. They put in BG Universal ATF? I checked level using a jumper on OBD to get correct temp, then pulled overflow plug and it just barely came out so I guess level is ok. Looked up BG ATF and it says it exceeds...

I thought it looked ok without them. Thats a personal choice thing so its hard for me to say. I think it looks perfect with them and I have to say I like the tires more and more everytime I drive the runner.

Thanks, yes I have the XREAS and the lift is Daystar. I did everything myself except alignment of course. Id say it took about 5-6hrs total for front and rear mainly because I got the DS kit with topout and preload so I had to compress springs. I am very pleased with this kit. Rides as good...

I just finished this install yesterday morning and I followed this thread. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-gen-t4rs/68638-daystar-2-5-1-5-install.html. went pretty well. I left strut assembly upright in UCA and just hooked up the spring compressers there. Still took about 6 hours total...

just installed the DS 2.5-1.5, topout - preload kit and 235-80-17 BFG AT KOs with Spidertrax 1.25 spacers. Rides and looks so much better. thanks too all on this forum!!!

Just got them on Friday. Did lift this AM and had the alignment done this afternoon. I LOVE the 235-80-17. It tracks so much better than the 265-70-17 Rock Mountain tires I had!! Should be better in snow and it just handles so much better I think. Not a very good pic. I will take some from...

Well, I guess nobody else has thought of this size. I just ordered the BFG and should have them by the weekend. Hope they handle better than the 265-70-17 i had put on. Ill post pics after install.
