I have a 2004 SR5 that is steering really hard.(Reminds be of my grandfathers pickup that had no power steering) I have checked the belt and the pump and the fluid and they are all good. I had my mechanic look at it and he said it could be the steering case but didn't want to replace it incase...
It's an 04,v6 with 85k on it. I have tried all the gases in town with the same results. The only time the lights stay off is when I can find gas without ethanol in it.
Thanks NCScott. I disconnected the negative like you suggested.Lights went out for about 30 miles! I live in a really small town...all (5) gas stations have ethanol in them. Closest one I can find without it is 11/2 away.What about adiing fuel injector care ?
