Leveling Kit Caused Issues Related to Front Facing Radar - Help please

Well, the issue is fixed. The ABS wire was the problem. I appreciate the help with this. That wire is really easy to screw up, doing suspension work. I would be willing to bet that it is the issue for most of these problems.

2020 4Runner lift voids safety systems.

Well, the issue turned out to be a damaged ABS sensor wire on the drivers front. I had it replaced and it fixed the whole issue... Anyone suffering this issue, check your ABS wires.

Leveling Kit Caused Issues Related to Front Facing Radar - Help please

The only one that seemed to be damaged was the drivers front. I think the asshat that worked on it, learned pretty quickly, but decided to NOT say anything... Thanks!

Leveling Kit Caused Issues Related to Front Facing Radar - Help please

It will be fixed tomorrow. Outside of a ton of my time spent chasing the Radar Calibration with Toyota and aftermarket companies, there is no cost thus far. The shop that installed my lift is ordering the part and fixing the cable, at no cost to me. I literally checked this forum 30-minutes...

Leveling Kit Caused Issues Related to Front Facing Radar - Help please

Wow... The drivers side wire is severely crimped and I hadn't noticed it. I actually had a local shop do the work, since it is cold as hell here. I should have done it myself. I appreciate the suggestion to look at it.

Leveling Kit Caused Issues Related to Front Facing Radar - Help please

I tried resetting the ECU to no avail... I am taking it in tomorrow morning to have the Radar deactivated... I would like to have it recalibrated, but my Toyota dealer seems to think it is impossible... With any luck, a fix will become available in the upcoming months and I can turn it on again.

Leveling Kit Caused Issues Related to Front Facing Radar - Help please

First of all, EAD, Douchebag. I asked if anyone had experience with this issue. This ain't my first rodeo. And thanks for making my first few posts on this forum so damn pleasurable. I absolutely love internet toughguys with such heavy keystrokes. To anyone other than the dickbag that I...

Leveling Kit Caused Issues Related to Front Facing Radar - Help please

I have a 2020 SR5 Premium with the front facing radar for adaptive cruise control and accident mitigation. Once I put the leveling kit (2-inch Front / 1-inch rear) I received a whole host of errors on the dash (Pre-Collision System Malfunction, Drive-Start Control Malfunction and ABS System...

2020 4Runner lift voids safety systems.

Does anyone know how alignments are done with modern vehicles? Could this be due to a measurement entered into the computer, regarding bumper height? If so, can I have them redo the alignment and BS the number, less 2 inches?

So I agree, the 2020 Adaptive Cruise is garbage, compared to other more sophisticated vehicles. That said, I would love to still have it as an option... I put a leveling kit on my 2020 and the dash went full Christmas lights. Anyone figure out how to deal with this yet? Mine is an SR5 Premium...

    Post your LIFTED pix here!

Anyone having the Radar faults (ABS, Active Cruise ect...) with their 2020? The dash lit up like Christmas after a 2inch front 1 inch rear level and alignment... *Edit* Issue corrected by fixing damaged ABS wire on drivers front hub.
