Not sure if this is the place for trip reports, but here goes: Background: Bought my first T4R a few months ago. It was in need of body work but mechanically excellent. A '98 SR5 with 217,000 km, manual trans, no sunroof. Spent about a month straightening up the body, putting new parts on, etc...

LOL, yeah the 265/75 would be a nice height. I'm not doing anything crazy for trails, but it'd add a nice bit of clearance. The running boards are basically useless for my needs. Thinking about making up my own rocker protectors though. Just some tube steel running along right under the rockers...

Yeah my buddy has already started de-striping it... They look horrid! Thanks, not going crazy with it, just some 245/75R16 or 265/75 at the most tires. Removing the running boards, may make up a little skid plate for the gas tank... Might try to weld up my own front bumper with a winch mount...
