    Radio Upgrades... Let see them.

The best kits is only for the JBL equipped radios. If you don’t have that you’ll have to go with something else. It fits any model equipped with the JBL thkuthough; ours is as sport.

Is this 4th gen really worth $26k?

It is still for sale and I offered them $20k our the door because I know they are crazy to think they will get that much and they said no. It has been for sale for over 2 months now.

It looks like you have an 03 so the maestro RR would not be beneficial for you because you can’t integrate information from it. In 2005 and up I believe you can use the maestro RR. Therefore your two choices are the PAC you mentioned, or the CRUX SWRTY-61J. They will both work. One is cheaper...

    Radio Upgrades... Let see them.

The Crux is only $65 and everything ended up working out perfectly. I couldn’t imagine trying to fit that giant PAC unit in there with the GPS receiver and the million RCA plugs that come with the 4400NEX. It was already an insanely tight fit.

What did you do with your 4runner today?

Changed the rear diff fluid, cabin filter, and changed out the front two JBL speakers because the front right one blew. The rear diff was a huge pain. The film bolt wouldn’t even come off with an impact. Used a 24” breaker bar and a bottle jack to raise it until I finally heard it snap. It even...

    Radio Upgrades... Let see them.

I installed a 4400 NEX in my girlfriend 03 with JBL and RDS and we retained all the factory steering wheel controls and everything. I used the Crux SWRTY-61J. It was weird installing it because we didn’t use one of the harnesses that originally plugged j to the radio, and we also didn’t use of...

    cost of suspension install

Honestly that seems a bit high to me. I was quoted $320 for 4 hours of labor at $80 an hour. I think that is pretty crazy to instal just springs and shocks. If they are removing XREAS maybe but that is still rather high.

Radio Install Question with Crux SWRTY-61J

Does anyone know which wiring harness a 2003 Toyota 4Runner with JBL and RDS is? Is it the TY-A or the TY-B. I called crutchfield and they told me I would have to pull it apart to see, but I feel like I should be able to know somehow which one it uses without pulling it out. Another question, I...

Is this 4th gen really worth $26k?

I actually found the other one using autotempest. If that one was 4WD it would be worth it. My girlfriends is 2WD so I am looking for 4WD.

Is this 4th gen really worth $26k?

I have been looking into getting into a 4th gen ever since my girlfriend got hers. I am looking for a clean white or dark grey 4th gen sportedition, V8, in 4wd with under 100k miles. I came across this one and was wondering what you guys think of the price. I think it’s absolutely high priced. I...

    Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX

I wish I could use the datalink maestro RR but it is not for 03’s and I don’t think the SW from datalink will work right with JBL.
