I pulled the same trailer, with about 500 lbs less than you from Oklahoma City to Washington DC, it was a good ride. Going through the Appalachians took a while but with proper towing techniques it was uneventful trip. Good luck and enjoy San Dog. Gas Lamp district is outstanding.

You should be able to read continuity over the switch if it is removed and see if it is good. I can't find anything in the Chilton Manual right now but I will check the Haynes(its in the truck) and get back to you.

Well I broke my drivers side sway bar end link today. Problem is on a 13 year old truck, with original connectors, the nut is rusted on to the bolt on the bar. It broke clean off on at the top of the link. Looking for suggestions...do I take the entire sway bar off? I have seen some people on...
