I'm officially bummin! Love the new runner. My 05 has still felt new to me (in spite of the 173K on the clock!) as the 06-09s weren't much different. There's no use denying it - I want the new one. Finances and responsibility being what they are - I have to stick with my plan to drive mine...

I have an 05 with a lift gate problem. The lock will not engage. It pulls the gate in but does not lock. I've tried lubing it but no luck. Any ideas? Anyone had this problem?

Re: Re: 05 Lift Gate Wont Lock I checked the drain holes and they're fine. I believe the problem to be with the locking mechanism itself. It does pull the door in but just won't lock. Anybody else have any ideas?

Tailight assembly (both sides) for sale. Good condition with only normal wear and tear. No cracks. Came off my 05 4runner.

Re: Re: Rattling Noise - HELP!!! I havent but I know the noise is coming from the outside. I've driven over bumps with my head out the window. It's definitely coming from the exterior rear end somewhere. It's fairly loud.

My 05 has developed a loud rattling noise that only occurs when I go over a bump. I know that it's definitely coming from the rearend. It sounds like a loose shackle but I can't find anything. Any ideas????

Anybody have one? If so, let me know. I'll happily take it off your hands.

Help!! Anyone know how to access the bulbs that illuminate the display just above the HVAC controls??? Both of my bulbs burnt out and it looks like a nightmare to get in there! Also, any idea of the bulb part numbers??
