I think the sensor for the auto-dim is the small white box to the right of the button. It reminds me of this: Just that you don't get any images.

Hey all, I recently got a '21 SR5 Premium and with the cold weather and a little fogginess on the mirror I noticed that in the center of the rear view it looks like there's a screen or something back there. Reminds me of the built in backup camera or built-in compass from other companies...
