Smart. It's ok if don't have to use any of the warranties on the vehicle. The recalls were unneccessary imo. However, I do believe one of the problems are the pedals are too close to each other. Toyota never addressed that issue but issued this recall instead (Smart Stop Technology).

Is this recall worth doing for those of you who have had it done? Any problems with it? This looks like nothing more than a stop-gap measure intended for those who drive with 2 feet. Also it also looks like I was correct when I also mentioned that the gas pedal and brake pedal were too close.

I'ld use eBay to find a VIN for the Limited version (for the year and color of your vehicle) and run it through the dealer to get the correct part numbers. There are sites than you find the numbers easily enough however. The dealer can't use the VIN for the SR5 (although a good parts person can...

Colormatched looks better imo. Had chrome on my vehicle on my white T4R and bought new handles from the dealer (they were prepainted). If I remember correctly all handles come prepainted. Chrome isn't bad, but black looks worse, prepainted looks perfect.
