Interested to hear the before / after on this.

I recently got the AC Delco equivalent of the 99 talls, supposed to hold up better than the Moog version. I drive my rig pretty lightly but so far zero sag after about 6 months.

Low mile car in a dry climate will bring top dollar. I wouldn’t worry too much about 20 year old consumable parts hurting the value.

I have the Akebonos. No comparative data but I’m pleased with them.

I had the same too and was able to do a bush fix by wedging some thick insulating tape in there. I figure it’s not a “real” fix but then again is held for about 3 months now.

No personal dealings with him, but From what I’ve seen he’s highly respected and done a ton of these. I wonder if it includes bulbs and ballasts at that price, though.

Thanks Man! I appreciate the vote of confidence. A few months back I did my brakes, and did not go with the TBU (gasp). Instead I use Brembo replacement rotors and Akebono pads. Far too soon to tell if these will stand the test of time, but with the money left over I was able to get my LBJ...

Hey - how are you liking these? I'm hung up between pulling the trigger on them, or continuing to "save up" for 5100s (which never seems to be possible). I've been following a "get shit done" strategy with my rig, which basically means actually upgrading and fixing things with quality parts...

Sounds like it depends where you are. Yesterday at my office parking lot, out of about 15 cars, 3 were 3rd gens.

Projector HID retrofit is really the only way to go. Also dark housings and larger shrouds do not look bugeyed at all... looks awesome in fact.

Just going to add my two cents to the mix... These are alright. I agree they are an upgrade over stock halogen. But not as good as even plug and play HID kit Of decent quality. But for the price and convenience it’s an upgrade. Just surprised how blown away everyone as it is.
