That looks good! They say it fits 4wd, but not the awd.?? I thought all 4runners were the same? I thought mine was awd AND 4wd? I have hi and low knob,,,should be considered 4wd?

This problem on my 2005 4runner. I replaced both cv shafts last month, but the noise was not cured. I find now that it is the inner end of the cv shaft on drivers side that has play in it and making the noise. I can shake the inner end back and forth. Anyone replaced that bearing? Hard to...

Cause i have a 05 that is real nice. The 98 is my work car and “I retire” next year, i wont need all the vehicles i now own. I drive a lot, which is why i own the 98. All those miles were put on just driving to work. I dont want the maint bills for a car with over 400,000 miles on it.

I have an intermitant sound too, but thought it was a wheel bearing. Can you wiggle your cv shaft in and out at the wheel end?

Turned over the 350,000 mark a week ago. Now down for ball joints and torn cv boot. Going for 400,000, then retire.

Installed the rebuilt injector,,runs like new!

I checked spark thru the wire and it was good. I checked for spark shorting from the wire in the dark and did not see anything, which is why i determined it was fuel related. Parts should be here this weekend i hope

Yes i did. In fact, it is still on there since it did not cure the miss,,i did not want to take the time to change back until the injectors were here,,,then do it all at once. It was nice having that laying on the shelf.
