The wobbling that you feel is probably due to warped drums I would think. Even if they were already replaced or turned, as hot as it sounds like it got it could be warped again.

Check your transmission fluid level. I have experienced what you described when I had a little too much fluid in there.

I would make sure you have plenty of fluid in the master cylinder. Also, it is possible to adjust the clutch pedal inside the truck. Just be conservative with how much adjusting you do if you decide to try it.

I agree with recommending the intercooler. Even if you are convinced you don't need it at low boost, having a lower intake temp will help you make more power on less boost.
