I am hoping to not have to replace the DVD and stereo head unit. Otherwise I am willing to do anything up to $1,500.

The stereo sounds terrible at low volumes which suggests maybe I just need a different AMP. As the sound system is tied into the rest of the DVD etc, it seems that Amp and speaker modifications. Again, any specific suggestions?

I just bought a 2004 4Runner Ltd. I am very disappointed with the stereo. Can anyone suggest what upgrades need to be made to the audio system to improve the sound at low volumes. Amps? Speakers? Also, how hard is it to add a changer? Is there anyway to hook up an ipod instead of a...
