Any of you towing an airstream with a 5th gen? I have a 2020 pro and interested in a smaller airstream (16 or 19 Bambi) but not sure how capable the vehicle would be.

Anyone else using the KDSS fuse slot (or any other fuse slot) with the add-a-circuit for the grille lights? It seems strange that a kdss fuse would be in a non-kdss vehicle but it seems like an easy fix for the non available slot issue in the 2020s.
The add a circuit in the main fuse panel...
The ABS harness is bolted in a few areas (3 or 4) and is a bit of a pain to disconnect on the engine side. I think it’s worth unbolting and disconnecting IMO. A small tug of the harness ruined it for my install - Christmas lights galore on my dash until the replacement came.

Didn’t have much time for a full photo shoot, but here it is. Bilstein 5100 set at 1.75” in the front, 1” cornfed spacer in the back with 5100 shocks as well. I’ll take more pics later in the week from the same angles as other pictures so that the difference can be seen. I’ve only driven it...
That seems to be the consensus if you want the 4Runner to sit level (or as level as it can be with the 1.75” lift). I’ll be using the stock coils with the 1” spacers in the back but with 5100 bilsteins swapped in. Here’s the last pic before the installation takes place

Is your plan with the CAI to remove it for smogging eventually and then reinstall once again? I hear good things about sound (not so much for performance) but still can’t find many folks doing this mod in Cali in 2017 or 2018 vehicles.

I was in the same boat as you. In fact, I am scheduled to get the 1.75” lift in front, 1” cornfed spacers in rear with the 5100 rear shocks as well this Tuesday. I have a 2018 ORP with about 5k miles. I read that the 5100 was a better shock than stock and that the suspension travel would be...
I went with purchase and self install over plastidip. I used plastidip on my badges and realized I don’t have as steady of a hand to make something as big as the valance look nice. I was also worried about scratches that might required touch up (wanted to avoid ongoing maintenance). Once I...
Stop and go is an mpg killer. I’m in LA and averaging about 15 per tank of gas. Saw over 20 when I drove to Vegas on wide open highway. Tire pressure and load are special considerations but you also sacrifice some mpg on the coolness factor alone. [emoji51]

Anyone in the Los Angeles area that can recommend a good shop? I have the 4 bilstein shocks and cornfed spacers but not the tools to install. Also worried about messing up KDSS. Will be going to 1.75” in the front and 1” in the back.

Went with TRD ORP because I wanted a pro with a moonroof. Wanted the cement color but not an option for a new vehicle so went with metallic grey. The aggressive look of the TRD line was a big plus as well.

Any damage to the rear axle? Unfortunately have had to deal too much with insurance companies trying to minimize the cost of repairs and value of car (to reduce likelihood of total loss). I’d really push it with them and make sure you get what you want- you did nothing wrong and it’s a total...
