Looking to find a clean 1999 to 2000 4Runner 4X4. The truck must have low mileage and diff lock.

Here is a quick question, I checked out the site that is linked above and it states that the 2000 model year has Daytime running lights if it has the ABS package.Is this correct?

Interesting, it might be tough to find a clean 4Runner if the 1999 Sport model is what I am being narrowed down to. Anything else I should know....:D

I am looking to purchase a 96-02 4Runner. I know I want locking diff, sunroof, tow package and sport seats. I probably do not want AWD traction control. What years are better than others. want what options changed though the years?

I hate to say this and am really not trying to start a pissing match but you are on CRACK. I would never recomend a body lift for someone's vehicle even if it just was a pavement princess. A suspension lift is the only way to go if you plan on keeping your Runner for any length of time...

The Tacoma is rated higher for offroad use because the body/frame can twist giving you better traction. You would be suprised on how much the frame can flex because the cab and box are not one unit. The 4runner is more top heavy also.
