Check One of Your Bulbs I just had this exact same thing happen, it was my front directional bulb burned out...

05 not sure if this qualifies but our 05 4x4 has 105k. No problems at all other than the TPS and finally bypassing it. Cheers

No Worries I have hauled trailers on and off the past year with at least 3500 lbs in my 05 V-6 4x4. Although they did not have a motorcycle, the weight was substantial and other than a reduction in gas mileage (enclosed Uhaul trailers), I have not experienced any problems. Hope this helps
