Hey, You CAN completely drain the fluid, but there's a bigger chance of trapping air making bleeding a little more difficult and could potentially put air into your master cylinder. You could use a plug of some sort to do the job as well and keep the brake fluid from running out to some degree...

This sounds like warped brake rotors: you can take them to an auto shop and have them measure the run-out and potentially face them. Or you can buy new rotors.

Your old shocks might have had the same issues but were absorbing it. I'd check the balance on the wheels: they might be reverberating through the suspension harder now.

I'd start by checking the battery and alternator. If, for some reason, the battery/alternator are just bbbbarely providing enough power, it might cause one system to draw from the rest. If you were to say, turn on the headlights, do you get the same results?

Mine cuts off regardless of the pressure of the brake applied except for maybe if I "rest" my foot against the brake (which I don't do except to test the cutoff). I wonder if the Limited has a different ECU. Honestly though, it's such a non-problem problem that getting an ECU is just throwing...

Just did a 30k mile service? How many miles on the truck? Did this start after the service? Anything special in the work order from your service that might hint towards what the mechanics did?

I didn't see you say anything. But it makes sense: if the sensor doesn't know that you're braking, then it can't cut the throttle.... Will experiment!

Sorry for the late reply. Speed is irrelevant. If the I have the left foot on the brake and the right on the accelerator, the throttle is cut off.

Okay. Headlights aren't sealed like you might see a tile expert caulk tiles around trim in a house. However, if you want to "seal" them further, silicone for sure!

Are you taking the lens off of the backing or just trying to seal it? I at one point had a little bit of water intrusion on an old Nissan Sentra. I had sealed it after separating it, with butyl tape. It's pliable in the heat and retains it's flexibility. I did pull the 3rd gen lights apart but...
