I have 4 Goodyear duratrac 265/70r17's which have 15.5/32nds of tread left (new is 18/32nds) on my full-time 4wd v8. I'd like to get a spare (exactly the same tire, just new) and work it into the rotation. Does toyota have a specification for the maximum tread depth difference on the full-time...

Doesn't meet your price point, but I've used AutoEnginuity for the last few years. Haven't tried it on the 4Runner yet, but it's worked without a hitch on my Ford and Honda vehicles.

Kenwood DNX-8120 / CCD-2000 Pretty straightforward install (following a few threads on here), with a few minor gotchas along the way. The trim kit from Crutchfield didn't fit the head unit - nothing a bit of filing couldn't fix though! Hardest part of the whole thing was fishing the camera...
