Clutch spring bushings will not go in!!

The bushings on either end of torsion spring are a light press fit into the pedal support bracket. Bracket in the car is a bit more difficult, bracket out of the car makes it easier. Careful squeezing with needle-nose with some sort of protection for the thin flange usually works. Or ditch it...

    Center Console Swap question

That's what you need, it's called the "bracket, cable support". It anchors the end of the parking brake cable jacket. It sandwiches between ebrake lever assembly and floor of truck. They are discontinued from Toyota, so only source would be used...

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Cooling system upgrade, Koyorad aluminum radiator, new Aisin water pump, thermostat, fan and clutch, Denso heater valve, hoses and coolant. The Koyorad radiator fit really well, bonus was no internal trans cooler. All th OG parts came out, still worked well after 175K (except for coolant of...

Help w/ Shop Diagnosis of New Clutch

As others have mentioned, check the master/slave cylinders for proper operation. Have you checked the clutch pedal free play? Sounds like you might be experiencing lack of disengagement of the clutch. Which could be a failing pressure plate, rather than a cooked clutch disc. How many miles...

All these items are gone, no longer available 1996-2000 4Runner 3RZ throw out and pilot bearings, both KOYO and from an Aisin CKT-051 clutch kit that I did not use. May also fit 1st gen 3RZ Tacomas 1996-2000 4Runner OEM Toyota 3RZ rear main seal, probably fits 1st Gen Tacomas/T-100s with 3RZ...

Can a worn driver side seat cushion be swapped with the almost new looking passenger?

You've got base 3rd Gen seats. On those the front seat seat bottoms are interchangable, only issue will be the passenger air bag sensor. The bottom cushions come out as a sub-assembly. Remove entire seat, plastic side panels, then the bottom cushion is removed from the seat frame via 4X bolts...

Moon mist 1999-2000 center console lid

I don't think you're going to find a new console lid in moon mist, unless a dealer has one lying on the shelf. I went through this a few years back, restoring the interior of my 2000 with moon mist interior. At 20+ years the new interior parts are being discontinued, so NLA. I scrounged up...

    Clutch burn

I just went through this, ended up outsourcing a clutch job due to too much work/life/other auto projects sapping my time. If you go with a reputable independent shop it ain't cheap, shop rates have really gone up. (>$1000) There are other items to also consider while you're "in there", like...

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Replaced clutch master and slave cylinders, also yanked out the shifter to look at the seat and bushing. Seat gone (basically small chunks) except for the rubber base washer, so replaced both, glad I looked!!
