Ok, I have searched posts but I can not find anything current for my 05 v8 4 runner. I have 92K on the girl and for the past 20k my speedometer has been off by 10 to 20 MPH on long trips after about an hour into the trip. I took it to the dealership and they said I need to replace the gauge...

Don't know...its a PITA though. Mine has been off by 15 to 20 mph at times. I was told thy would have to replace the whole unit. 800+ dollars for a dash...really. I just use my tom tom to tell how fast um going.

Battery is only a year and a half old....but I too was thinking bad battery. At Toyota dealership now trying to get a pro rate. Have a feeling its more trouble than worth. Prob should have pulled it myself and took it to sears to get new one....I hate being out of town..

I just drove 8 hours straight with no issues. Ireached my house ..turned off the runner and it was stilll dark outside so the head lights stayed on. I in packed the thing no more than 10 minutes and I noticed the head lights dimming....sure as veal I tries starting it and it was dead.....just...
