Huge thanks for confirming. I wasted a few bucks ordering the immobilizer keys and I thought I was a genius for getting it programmed on the first try, haha. I think I'll ditch these keys and get simple metal ones. Less bulk.

The top key is the only one that came with the car. The bottom key I bought off Amazon and thought I programmed and it works. The key fobs were also bought on Amazon and programmed successfully to lock/unlock, roll down rear window, and set off the panic honking horns. Off topic but I don't...

Doubt this forum platform has the capability to allow that programatically. Would require hands on moderation which sounds like a bandwidth issue.

I have a 2000 SR5 and just went thru the steps to program my key and it works. Not sure if it's working b/c I successfully programmed the keys or if it's because the car does not have chipped keys!

Would it be annoying if I just did this 15 times? Here's post #2 :)
