    I mean it could be a number of things, more than likely the plug itself was no good and it shorted? Who knows?... but the only thing you can do is just change it, theres no fixing that old one ...hope that helps

    Imo toyota dealership may be pricey but having them look the car over is totally a good thing ....last thing you wanna do is buy someones headache lol ...also if the car passes inspection then its probably a good sign to move forward with the buy.
