I asked Scotty from Addicted about those and he steered me away from them. Said that the they didn't expand enough or something (it was a while ago) and I should just extend my diff breather.

Good to hear it does better with the locker in two wheel drive. :thumb3: Still waiting for funds to get mine. I think Zachpin34 (not sure if I got it right) has one too with an auto. I'm qurious what his thoughts are on the rear aussie. :hungry:

Ya I saw that. From his description about "the back end walking out" as not a big deal makes me question it a little. Also he has a 2nd gen with a stick and I have a 3rd with an auto. Not sure how this could effect the engagement.

I have to admit I am tempted to do this. My only concern is how it would handle snow and ice. Especially on the highways since I regularly drive up into the mountains. Anyone have any experience, bad or good, with this?

I could be in for this. I'm have to see what my schedule looks like but probably.

Personally, I like the ODL bumper but it is a bit pricey. CBI makes a DIY plate bumper kit for 1st gen 4runner and tacos on at ttora.com that is cheaper than other competitor plate bumpers. When I gather enough pennies, hopefully they will have a kit for 3rd gens.

I think you could probably make that bumper for less and still have it look about as bad. 6 foot of rectangular tube, a couple cuts, frame plates, and weld it up. When its that simple, the fab work isn't terrible.

With the ODL mount CHECK FOR HATCH CLEARANCE! After hearing that some people hit the mount on their hatch, I checked my clearance before slamming the hatch and am super glad I did. A little pressure from my foot while the mount was on some carpet and it fit like factory.

Hey guys, I'm trying to decide if I want to get wheel spacers or new wider tires with less back spacing. Anybody have pics of what low back spacing tires (like 2-3inchs) look like on your vehicles? Thanks

Just for clarification, the reason your not using the Sequoia axle is be cause it is too wide and won't look good or is it that it just won't fit?

Not sure what the difference between 2wd and 4wd. I would just go with bilstiens from toytec. You'll end up getting the right shocks for sure. The ones I got from them for the rears came with mounting hardware that makes easier to replace the shock if you ever have to again. I might be a little...
