Well I did it. Only a day of ownership but notice the steering is firmer...maybe due to the full time 4WD on the LE. Cornering is much the same but a quieter ride from the 2010 Trail. JBL Audio is a nice addition. Optitron gauges are very nice in blue.

Thanks for the info. Not a lot of 2014 LE's up here in Canada as yet and haven't been able to test drive one. Saw one fresh off the boat but it was already sold so couldn't drive. The Optitron gauges looked good in blue and the JBL audi was a marked improvement.

Has anyone moved from a earlier Trail to the new 2014 Limited. Looking at making the move to get some of the new in cab technology and wondering if it is worth the change up? Any comments on the difference in driving dynamics with the 20" wheels and XREAS?

I've got a 2010 with 40K KM's on it now on my 2nd winter with no apparent frame rust...my tail pipe is getting a bit rusty though...... I had a 2005 Tacoma before the 4Runner and it had very obvious frame rust. I think thats where the Toyota reports were coming from.

Thanks for the responses guys.......I couldn't see any adjustments where the seat latches. Also tried reclining while trying to relatch and still the same. I'll check with the dealership next time through.

The seat backs. The bottoms are fine but the backs move forward and back around 1/4 " or so. When I put them up and into place they latch but don't feel like they are fully locked in. I've tried reclining them a bit but same movement.

I've noticed a rattle from the rear seats in my TE. When I check the seat latching I've got about 1/4 inch of play forward and back for both sides which is where my rattle is coming from. Is this movement standard when the back seats are latched? I'd think the seats should be firm with no play...

Just finished a 7400 km trip to California and back. Was getting around 11.2 to 11.4 on the highway crusing at around 125 kph. In the city I'm getting between 12.8 to 13.4 for day to day stop and go.

Congrats on the new 4Runner, looks great but I might be impartial. I got my Magnetic Grey Trail last Monday. Where are your roof rack cross bars? Did you decide to leave them off?

Yes, I didn't read it thoroughly though as I was looking forward to the new 4Runner. It said something about shaving the gas pedal up for more carpet clearance.

I got the recall letter in the mail for my 2005 Tacoma last week. It was the truck I traded for the 4Runner so I gave it to the dealership.

I just picked up my new 4Runner on Monday and the noticed my driver side floor mat was in the back. The dealer said it was their new policy that the owner had to put in their driver side floor mat at delivery. Strange.....don't know if anyone else has experienced this.....
