    SoCal 4Runner Shop Thread

If Lincoln Heights (near DTLA) isn't too far, Dark Moon Fabrications welded my 4x sliders and would likely be able to do the panhard. He does BMC, etc, drives an FJ. DM me if you want his details.

Dobinsons Suspension - 4th Gen Options

Is anyone running Dobinsons front coils with 5100s? I am currently looking for options on my 04 Limited V8. 5100s set at zero with Wheelers/Eibach T1s in front now and not digging the ride (super squishy) and sitting about 2" lower than the rear (36.5" in front, 38.5" in back). Based on the...

    SoCal 4Runner Shop Thread

I had South Bay Truck install my Wheelers/Eibach springs. They also did the lift on a buddy's new Rubicon. The owner Frank is a nice guy...will talk your ear off. I would give him a call and see what he says. If you find somewhere else, please post. Always looking for options. Good luck.

    Welding sliders - Pasadena area

There is a guy that welds and fabs in La Crescenta. I talked to him about sliders but he was a little too far for me being in Venice. Super nice guy and seems like he knows his sh!t. His IG is @kleinfabrications. I ultimately found someone a little more local and he is welding 4x sliders on...

    2.5/1.5 lift lean correction

I did the exact same lift (bilsteins when I first got the truck, and then the coils recently). I only used the rear trim OME spacer for lean. I am even all around BUT, 1" higher in the rear. Likely due to the V8 up front (in hindsight, I should have left the Bilstein's on the first clip rather...

    2.5/1.5 lift lean correction

Yeah that could be the reason for my lower than expected front. Keep us posted on how it turns out.

    2.5/1.5 lift lean correction

Same rear with Wheelers T1s in the front. I only used the rear trim spacer to compensate for any lean andI am even all around.

I used the OME 10mm rear spacer. Seemed to work nicely.

    4th Gen Suspension Options/FAQ

Nope. It's prob only raised about 2" in the front. I think those issues start at 3" and over.

What did everyone pay for their 4th gen?

So far, so good on this end. The first owner was from a well-to-family from Silicon Valley area. She got it as her 16th bday present. But lots of records as they brought it to the dealer for everything so I felt like it was taken care of. Now I get to beat the crap out of it. hehe. Cheers.

What did everyone pay for their 4th gen?

Wow. Prices are all over the place. I found a 1 owner, 04 Limited V8 with 152k for $8,500 which I felt was below market. Not a lot of 4x4s in LA so I grabbed it for asking price.

    4th Gen Suspension Options/FAQ

Sorry, just seeing this now. I am not sure if it has settled, still seems higher in the rear...although sometimes when I look at it, it seems pretty level. This is from a recent run. https://vmac.smugmug.com/Jeep/Hungry-Valley-2/i-DmVLgb8 If I was to do it again, I would leave the front strut...
