Great tip and also correct on the newer the better. I have also used heavy gauge wire taped to the hose to guide it in the center of the frame using my free hand. The hose can come off the can easily, so the wire helps with that also.

I use weld through primer when I cannot gain access to bare metal after the weld is completed. If you can access everything after then there is no need.

Congrats, the ZR2 looks awesome. Maybe chime in after a while on how you like it. Mine had the vibration when I changed wheels/tires but a road force balance cured it. I agree with you, no way I could continue to drive it with the vibration.

I ordered the part that you linked and it was a metal housing. The one you show is not correct. Hopefully an exchange will get you the right one. Look also at the directions on here about changing the metal tube from your old housing.
