Honestly, one of the main reasons that I am looking at the 4Runner is that I can't stand to be without a set of Volks. :)

Thanks guys. It's just a matter of time. Everytime I own a black car I swear I'll never own another. This time, I'm going to try to stick with that. The wheels on the Titan are TE37s. Luckily the Titan and 4Runner share the same bolt pattern.

The only aspects I'll miss will be the ability to carry really large items like exhausts and what not that will have to hang out the back window, the leg room for passengers and the towing ability. Other than that, I'm looking forward to a more comfy ride again. :)

I was going to run the FJ coils/shocks combo as a friend with an FJ was willing to give them to me when he gets his suspension. I suppose if that fell through I would consider just running the springs with the XREAS if I ended up with a 4Runner with the system.

Sorry for not being specific. I was looking to avoid the XREAS due to my plans to add FJ Springs/Shocks and a spacer kit. I was under the assumption that there is more involved in removing the system than a standard suspension set-up found on non-XREAS 4Runners.

I'm looking into getting an 06-07 4Runner pretty soon and want to avoid getting one with XREAS based on what I have read. I believe that I read that the 06 Sports have the system, but am wondering how else to know whether a prospective car has it or not. Thanks!
