As long as your washers are flat and not concave, I think you tightened to their spec.

For grins and giggles, I loosened all 8 foot bolts, allowed the rubber to regain its shape, and retightened. The rack stands a good bit taller now that I know how tight they should be and no longer rub the body in the back. Please do let us know when the washers are up on the site.

2020 with 4k miles, have had the morning squeak on the first 1-2 brakes of the day, every day since it rolled off the lot with 7 miles. Mine is garage kept every single night, so I have a very, very hard time imagining it's overnight rust.

Got my Sherpa Crestone rack installed...other than that, just a stock Off Road, but damn I like the way it looks.

I had the foresight to order extra rubber feet with my rack because I live in Texas and nothing kills rubber faster than our summers...I would definitely order more washers knowing what i know now. So for those of you who also now have concave washers, would you agree that your bolts still turn...
