I have my passenger axle out to replace the outer CV boot, and the joint just won't come off. It's in a vice and I've been beating on it for 10 mins with nothing. There are no visible c-clips or retainers that I can see.... What am I doing wrong?? I'll post a picture soon even though...

Nothing wrong with that method at all. I just prefer to do the work comfortably on a bench rather than over my head or on my back.

Got the rotors resurfaced today. Hardly anyone does it these days but I finally found a shop that charged me $8 each cash. No more brake wobble. The cheapest rotor at Rock auto is $13.......wow that's cheap. But even a pair of those shipped is $40. The cheapest pair at advance is $60+
