    Best "good-enough" shocks for 890s?

I have Kings in the front of my 98, and the PO installed spacers in the back and some Skyjacker or other generic white can shock. I installed the Toytec Superflex springs and they were too tall and the spring rate was too low and it made the Runner not sit level and it was too floppy even with...

    '96 4Runner, sunroof not working...

Sure, why not bump a thread started in 2010? So still haven't found a definitive answer as to what fuse or fuse relay powers the sunroof, as the domelight guess doesn't make sense to me as it's only a 10a circuit. But as I learned a long time ago, try all the switches and you might get...

That's exactly what my engine looks like...not. Looking good!

    Fadiddy's 5VZFE Build

Subscribed. Looks like you have a good handle on reality. I hate it when people don't understand the design envelope of an engine.

I wish Nitto would make a Terra Grappler in this size.

    !GE-FE in a 3rd gen.

Yeah, Marks makes some great products. I was looking at some of their stuff when I had my FZJ80.

    !GE-FE in a 3rd gen.

Yeah, a SC would be much easier, but having to run premium and the decreased MPG have kept me away from it. I'm already having to fill up every 250 miles or so, and that gets old. I'm thinking the 4.0 might even get better MPG than the 3.4 with more modern FI tech, etc.

    !GE-FE in a 3rd gen.

I guess my search skills suck, as I looked for someone that had done this swap but came up empty. If you've got a link post it up, TIA. I know people have done UZ swaps, but a 4.0 kinda makes more sense to me. It's more compact, lighter and it's a V-6 so should work with the tach, etc., but I...

3 Year Anniversary for the Timmy the Tooman Show

I appreciate the effort you've put in to make these videos, and especially when you make a mistake or run into a problem, and point it out a better way to do it.

    Suspension lift advice

That's nice to be indulgent, but it makes it harder to search for info when you have so many new threads with no new info. If you search first and come up with specific questions then you'll get specific answers...or maybe no answers and you'll have to find out on your own, and then you can...

Great annual CO/UT/AZ meetups (3rd gen welcome) similar to TW Rock Therapy?

This one looks fun. I don't know if I can do the full three days, but I may hook up with them at some point. Heart of Arizona overland route

    Flares - Sport or Bushwacker??

I'm not crazy about the Limited flares, they look like they take up too much room in the fender well and limit tire size...maybe that's why they're called Limited.

    Flares - Sport or Bushwacker??

Are the sport flares different from the flares used on the Limited? ('98 for me).
