Actually bought the truck for my son who just got his license. We don't have much reason or opportunity to drive off road. That may change but for now handling and asphalt driving are what's important. Thanks for the reply.

You are probably right but the 2007 OEM stereo is free.

Anybody know if a double din OEM stereo will fit in a 2002 4runner? Trying to add the aux function the 2007 has so my son can plug in his iPhone. Thanks in advance.
