We made it as small as we could without making it a weak point, but still added it in as a cutout to increase airflow to the coolers and lower the overall weight of the bumper too.

Here you guys go! Here's the first prototype on a car, it's yet to be fully welded up and powdercoated, but this is what it'll fit like. As for weight, I'll need to weigh it once it's complete, but it's around the 30-35lb range.
