New changes! Switched to a slim morimoto light bar... They are pretty cheap, but still a quality brand with good warranty.. The cheap bar i had got condensation and crapped out. I like the slimmer look. I don't hate chinese bars, but research heavily. I literally bought the cheapest one on ebay...

so.... i've decided to ruin the truck with krylon finally. some updates to come soon. changed lightbar for a slim morimoto bar, awning, and of course paint.

currently experiencing this with my camry, so figured i'd mention it. had a loud whirring coming from the engine, put my ear to the engine, discovered it was the alternator bearings going. took it to my shop to confirm, turned out to be the AC compressor.

That's not bad at all. I was expecting way more. I might just go for the rebuild then and not risk some used diff. my mechanic has a set of 4:30 gears from a re-gearing somebody else did anyhow.

600 dollars is the going rate in BC for a junkyard rear diff with elocker. Out of curiosity, why are they machining you a spider gear, when you could just buy a near gearset from the usa for maybe a couple hundred?
