My e-brake has not worked since I bought my 99 SR5 last year. The lever is loose so I figured the cable was disengaged somewhere and have not worried about it much since Iowa is flat. I had the oil changed and asked my mechanic to check the e-brake situation and he said it was "froze up" but...

Hi all, got my 99 SR5 in August and have wanted one since they came out. 151K, clean inside and out, one owner. Been lurking here for about a year, lots of great information.
