    a/t fluid overheat

There is nothing wrong with mounting it facing up, per instructions, up or to the side is the same thing. It's when you direct in facing down is where they do not recommend. Either way will work, for anyone else considering it.

    a/t fluid overheat

Another way to run it is having the intake/outtake pointing up on the cooler. I ran the line from the radiator through the passenger side to the intake on the left side of the cooler and ran the outlet on the right going to the driver side to a inline filter and back to the tranny. I would...

    Parting Silver 2000 4Runner SR5 4WD Marysville, WA

Do you have the rear passenger floorboard trim piece? Should be held by 3 screws I believe, covers the carpet. Need in gray.

    a/t fluid overheat

I wonder if the bypass on these coolers can create a way for the fluid to pass but trap some air in the cooler? Maybe the air rises and creates a pocket. who knows, maybe it one of those things where something could happen, but the chance of it are low. I ended up mounting mine with both...

Harsh (Jarring) side to side after lift

Can't comment on the rear end, but honestly it sounds like your describing a lifted 4runner. I have the toytec ultimate lift and I get the same back and forth motion when I back out of my driveway at an angle. Lifted 3 inches isn't going to feel like stock no matter what you do. Have you...

    a/t fluid overheat

IIRC, I think the reason for being the other way is so you do not have a pocket of air trapped in the system creating a less effective cooling system. Inlet should be on bottom so it fills the cooler up to the outlet making sure there is no air trapped within. Someone mentioned the whole hot...

    4Runners on 34s Pic Thread

Though the 295 are a little bit wider than the 285 which I would think that they would really rub. Anyone running a 295/75/16 on stock UCA?

    255 or 285?

The highest what, average? How are you getting 21.3? Is that over a tank or you hit that for a few miles on a trip? 285 and over 20 mpg doesn't make any sense. Stock gearing 4.10, 4.30?

    255 or 285?

I agree, I have BFG KM2 255/85/16 and I get about the same mileage. Average around 15 maybe. I am charged and heavy, it felt like my milage dropped quite a bit when I added the tires, and I drive conservatively. I can feel the truck not quite in the power band and feels a tad bit sluggish...

Hmmm very interesting, there's a BFG KO2 in that size. Anyone run this tire? Might need to look into this when my 255 KM2 wear out. Probably need new upper control arms to get it to fit? Edit: I guess they are just a tad bit taller than the 255/85/16, not by much though.

I'm curious how many tires actually came in a 34 size on 16 rim. Isnt it a pretty unique size?
