yeah, i have the same problem on my 98 sr5. the most i ever got in was 15 gal. that was close to under E.

oh yeah, i'm already thinking about mods! i like the lift on your 4runner, nice.. my mods will be coming slow, since I'm a family man. My paycheck is usually already spent! lol

that sucks, well at least toyota is proving that they will stand behind their products.. no one's perfect

My 4runner has that problem as well, the clunk or thump from behind after coming to a stop. I know Lexus GX470s have that problem too. There is actually a bulletin for that, where they replace both rear upper and lower control arms and the drive shaft. Probably too much free play in the arms...

hey guys and gals, new guy here just saying hi. I bought a 98 4runner sr5 with 108k on it about 4 weeks ago.. I love it, minus the gas mileage :) I know I'll learn alot here and hope to share some knowledge too. I'll post some pics soon.. thanks
