only problem i see with the lcengineering headers is that you spend just as much as the other brands but you dont get the crossover pipe. you either have to fabricate your own or buy their crossover kit

also holding it still in any position causes it to do this. maybe a fuel pressure issue even? is there any way i could do some diagnostic tests at all without an ohm meter?

check the rear pinion nut and see if its loose. if it is, the pinion is falling into the diff and contacting the carrier when you let off. hope you find the source

:iagree: seen this happen many times. what happens when you let off is the flow of power is reversed causing the pinioin gear to fall into the diff and start grinding againt the carrier. torque spec on that nut is 135 ft/lbs i believe
