280hp!? I wish mine came anywhere close to that? Mine is a 2003 V8 and only came with 235. I hate being broke. And it is the V8 too!

Is there a way to dechrome the badges? I don't want to debadge my truck. I was thinking of maybe a safe way to use a dremel to sand it off without damaging the plastic. I had the misfortune to get one wit the gold package which I hate. Any ideas?

My lie-o-meter shows the same thing and mine is all stock. On the highway it gets about 20 if I just do highway...

I have also been using the Bosch Icons for at least a decade or so and love them. Also put them on my mother's car for her and never any problems with them. Seem to do the job well and last a satisfactory amount of time. I can't say how long since I forget when I changed them...

This method does work effectively? It seems like there are so many different ways to "properly" bleed the fronts in this thread I am getting confused. I did the 5th gen conversion and now have a much softer pedal. I also had my shop bleed them as well and it got a little better but not quite...

Meh. Doesn't really matter now. Beokena wheel stud so I have to get that fixed. Will just end up having my mechanic do it. Which was exactly what I was trying to avoid. Oh well, such is life...

Just put in calipers and cannot get them to bleed. Using a hand pump bleeder. Have done this many times and never had this problem. Truck was off. Should I be doing something different?

I am upgrading my brakes and was wondering what size line wrench I need for the calipers. It's my first foreign truck and am in the process of adding more metric tools to my collection. And once I get my computer back you will probably hear a dealership rant from me. Too difficult to rant...

You say it took at tom of pressure to put it on? Did you find that you had to rotate it 180* degrees or something to get the right amount of force on the wiper? I just took delivery and installed it as it looks in the pic on the first page and it seems to work ok. Do you know something I don't...

I just looked on Rokauto and they list a red coated PowerStop front caliper but do not say what side. I would prefer black but will take what I can get. The NAPA Total Eclipse would be nice but again still no 5th gen front. I hat having to call. That is what the internet is for!

Again thanks for the links. It just seems that coated front 5th gen calipers do not exist online. Maybe time to start making phone calls. I just REALLY don't want to paint them myself. How can this be possible that they are so hard to find? Lack of cores from people replacing them?

Thank you for the info guys. Anyone have issues returning a 4th gen core for a 5th gen caliper? I read the whole huge thread on the conversion but a lot of the info is old. The calipers mentioned seem to fit the bill. I don't want to paint so that would be perfect...
