Scratch that, they actually can make 17s, but they're so heavy they said they would never put them on a street car. So back to the drawing board, I'm either looking for aluminum wheels in that style or the magic offsets to make 16s fit.
Well I actually missed that they could build 17s, I was just looking at the chart in the bottom right and it only went up to 16. Thanks for pointing that out. I'm gonna give them a call about building the wheels today, but I need to know what width and backspacing/offset I should order? Can...
So my 06 4Runner has been in my hands for 45k miles now. That's enough time to run completely through a set of BFG A/T's and to wear out my stock dampers. I currently have FJ springs, a 1 inch coil spacer in the front, 1.5 inch wheel spacers, and 275/70/17's. I'm looking to get 2 inch lift...
I promise more pics soon, but this is all I have at the moment. I had tremendous sag after 40k miles with my stock springs so I went for a slight lift with the FJs and the Toytec spacer to get rid of the rake. Before I did the spring swap, I got the 275/70/17 BFG AT KOs, and I am super happy...
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Still have the issue with the spacers. I'm looking for an answer on whether or not I can just take the car to a shop that can do lug centric wheel balancing and be fine. Or maybe get hubcentric rings?
Just a refresher, I have stock hubcentric wheels and...
I definitely have been very lucky, but I've worked a damn lot too.
See I already have these on the truck, so I'm thinkin it might be best to try and make them work. I'm seeming to find that if I just take it to a lugcentric wheel balancing shop, they could take care of it. Anyone care to back...
Well I've had this 4Runner since March 09, and I didn't really think much of it till a month ago. I decided I was going to keep it instead of getting a WRX because I really needed something to tow the race car and boat. It needed tires so I got some 275/70/17 BFGs and that just ignited the...
The boat by far. The whole rig you see there weighs about 4,200 lbs. Probably a little more with stuff in the boat. It usually has 450 lbs. of lead weight in it too. So you are looking at about 4700-4800 lbs. I tow it with my V6 regularly and have no problems. It isn't the fastest setup in...
All day erryday:dancin:
And sometimes this monster, though I don't have any pics to prove it
Yes, ladies and gents, that is a track prepped Ford Escort station wagon.:wow:
