yea i goofed on the title im running 285/75/16 duratracs on a mickey thompson classic wheel 16x8 with 3 5/8 inch bs

i have a 3inch lift and just put 285/75/16s on a 16x8 wheel with 3 5/8 bs and i rubbed had to trim lower corners of bumber (about a 1/2 inch) not sure on your setup but i think the backspacing is what did me in for trimming:toilet::toilet:

yup trimmed the same area as u and i def am happier with the wider stance with a little trimming than not as wide for me anyway:party:

not sure what the pinch weld mod is but i did some trimming on the lower corners of the bumber and took that bottom flare on the bumber off which actually looks pretty sweet with that off.. anyway im happy with the wheels and tires jus surprised when i pulled out after puttin them on and hearing...

stock backspacing is 4 5/8 inch

yea that might be it i got mickey thompson classic IIs with 3 5/8 inch backspacing.. i hear alot of people runing 4inch bs ... that little bit will cause the rub than? :thanks::guitar3:

i could of swore i read thread after thread that 285/75/16s would fit nicely with the toytech ome 3inch lift.. i have a 99 limited so maybe thats the problem but it rubbed bad on the bumber side flare had to take that off and then still shave some of the bumber off... wtf!!!!:bash::gun6:

i got a 99limited with 3inch toytech and now i bought 16x8 mickey thompson classic IIs with 3 5/8 backspacing with 285/75/16 duratracs.. pics soon

the wheels im looking at are 16x8 with 3.62" back spacing wouldnt that be a wider stance than the 4inch backspacing?

i have a 99limited with 3inch toytech lift and am looking at gettin new mickey thompson wheels with a 3.62" backspace (-22mm offset) and then running 285/75s. is this gonna stick out waaaaaaay to much or not to bad? i perfer the wider stance.. roughly want an 1inch or 1.5inches or so wider...

Anyone know what the amount of backspacing the stock wheels on a 99 limited are?

Ok cool, but is there anything wider than 285/75/16 rather than tall that would work with my setup?
