i have a 99limited with 3inch toytech lift and am looking at gettin new mickey thompson wheels with a 3.62" backspace (-22mm offset) and then running 285/75s. is this gonna stick out waaaaaaay to much or not to bad? i perfer the wider stance.. roughly want an 1inch or 1.5inches or so wider than the flares ...i value your opinion thanks

It wont be wider than the flares, maybe just even, but it wont be past. The things are pretty far off the fender

With the factory 6 spoke and 285/75, mine are flush with the standard chrome flares. For a wider stance you may want to look into a 16x8 rim with 4" back spacing.

The wheels the op mentioned will stick out further that 4" bs 8" wide, which I happen to have. They put the tire about 1.5" past the body ( I am flare less )

Thanks, I always wondered how far mine would stick out if I get 8" wheels. Do they still tuck into the wheel wells when flexed?
