I've already made a change due to the rise in gas prices... I traded my '04 Land Rover for an '06 4Runner Sport. The Rover got 12-14 mpg on premium fuel and I'm averaging about 19 mpg using regular in the Runner. It's like driving an economy car! :D

Those prices sound reasonable if they include installation. I have seen kits for $450 - $750 and understand that there is a fair amount of labor to install them. If I can figure out which kit to get and can find a heated seat kit that is or looks and works like it's factory, I may attempt to...

Black out... I think white letters were cool back in the 80's - early 90's, along with metallic teal blue/green paint. :D I actually made the dealer dismount the tires and turn the letters in before I took delivery of my '06.

Thanks. I'm thinking about replacing the stock tires as my second mod. The first was removing all of the chrome lettering... It looks SO much better without it!

There is a trade involved, but my net offer came out to about $29200 out the door. That's without the $1000 rebate. I want the 2.9% because it works out better over term. (current new car rates are about 5.9-6.9)

Thanks for the input guys. When I was sitting at the dealer with these numbers in front of me, I countered with a much lower number and told them I would take the truck if the met it. I know that my offer was pretty much a low-ball, but I figured if they would meet me even close to 1/2 way...
