So a few weeks back my 4runner was being a bit slugglish so i replaced the spark plugs, wires, rotor, distributor cap, checked the timing!! She ran like a champ. Then the alternator went haywire to i replaced that. Alls good again. Now since yesterday she i running like **** again. Backfiring...

I did something stupid.....pulled the distributor without leaving a mark where it was set. Now i dont know how to reset the timing of my 1992 toyota 4runner 3.0 v6. Could someone please help and give me some step by step instructions on how to reset the engine timing thanks.
