I dont know what happened!!

So a few weeks back my 4runner was being a bit slugglish so i replaced the spark plugs, wires, rotor, distributor cap, checked the timing!! She ran like a champ. Then the alternator went haywire to i replaced that. Alls good again. Now since yesterday she i running like **** again. Backfiring, hestistant to accelerate, sucking gas like a mother****er. I check the timing.....fine. I checked to make sure all the wires were connected....all good. Idk whats wrong. Could someone offer some suggestions as to were to begin or what to check. Its a 91 4runner with the 3.0L v6

I don't know, you covered the things I would have started with.

You didn't mention any codes, so I guess you have none?

I may be way off base here, but it sounds like you have a weak
spark. May want to consider checking the distributor, ignitor, coil.

Next thing to check: Fuel filter (+ seafoam wouldn't hurt), injectors, TPS, AMF, and O2 sensors. There are methods of checking these components before replacing them..Let us know what you find.
